Here's
the registry! No, we haven't "themed" the nursery. We
like baby animals--bears, ducks, elephants, Florida Gators, whatever. We
like brighter colors, but it's hard to avoid pastels, we know....Gift
certificates are appreciated if you want to help us--even just a little!--buy
that ridiculously expensive car seat. The clothes listed on the
registry were examples of what I first grabbed in the store, just to
give an indication of the type of clothes needed, not necessarily that
specific choice or quality. Teethers and toys are always appreciated. And
you can't have too many baby washcloths, towels, and receiving blankets,
or so I'm told! Things that might seem ho-hum, like baby hangers,
baby toiletries, diapers (yes, disposable--too little water in Colorado
to go the other way and the environmental impact of either is a wash),
outlet covers, changing table covers, etc., would actually be very welcome! We
are also in need of a hamper and a lamp, but I don't really care what
kind--functional for both, and maybe even cutsie for the lamp. I
looked at the offerings on babiesrus, and I have to say I couldn't decide,
mostly because it took way too much brain power to choose, and because
it seemed like I'd be choosing a "theme". If you really
want more definition, make Tim decide--he has much better taste than
